Unplanned instacare trip with this dude. X-rays came back negative. His brother fell on his leg why playing. He can’t put weight on his left leg, but it doesn’t appear there is anything structurally effected, it’ll (hopefully) just take a couple days to get back to normal.
I had to go inside for something and when I came out, this kid had picked up where I left off. We worked out a system where he got the top edges and I did the long side edges. He rocked it.
She’s home. Alice Sophia was 8 lbs. 11oz. She experienced some trouble breathing so she spent the first couple days in the NICU, working up to full lung capacity and being able to maintain her oxygen levels on her own. But all that’s behind us, McKay-Dee’s nurses and doctors were wonderful. We’re so grateful for this little spirit and all the hands and help we’ve been extended over what’s been a pretty busy week.
McKay-Dee has one of the best feels as a hospital that I’ve ever been in. I got to think the location doesn’t hurt.
When life throws things your way you can’t control, I find it helpful to focus on things I can control: find small wins that help you keep your feet moving. Today’s exercise in that regard was digging posts and concrete for replacing the part of the fence that got knocked down by the windstorm.
